8 digital Channel-transmission via AES/EBU or Microphonecable

If you need to conect your devices with optical TOSLINK in/out up to distance 75m (200 ft), Range X is right solution for you !

Range-X is an affordable TOSLINK/Adat cable extender receiver/ transmitter solution .
It enables any optical Adat or SPDIF signal to be transported with no latency
through a single balanced AES/EBU cable for more then 75m (200 ft) in any
direction, allows to install converters or any other Adat devices far away from
its source or target device. It is also possible to use standard Microphone cables
with the possible decrease of the maximum transmission length.

With this solution it is possible to increase the number of analog lines in fixed installations factor eight, and ADAT or SPDIF units can be placed right where they are needed.
Due to the fact that Range-X is a very cost effective solution, it does even make
sense to replace analog lines in digital systems with this solution.

Range-X is of course also able to send Adat 96 kHz reducing the number of channels to 4 as normally the case with adat transmission. Throught Range X is possible to send DTS and Dolby Digital coded multichanel audio as well. This feature allow to use Range X at home cinema installations, where is longer distance of DVD player with optical TOSLINK output and receiver with DTS or Dolby Digital decoder.

32 digital Channel (16 In/ 16 Out) + MIDI transmission via CAT 5 Network cable

Range-X Pro is an affordable TOSLINK cable extender receiver/ transmitter solution.
It enables any optical Adat or SPDIF signal + MIDI to be transported with no latency
through a single Cat 5 Network cable for more then 150m (400 ft) in any
direction, allows to install AD/DA converters or any other Adat devices far away from
its source or target device. Range X Pro send 16 digital audio chanels (2x Adat) to one direction and 16 digital audio chanels (2x Adat) back.

Studio or Live setup with a digital Mixer and Range-X Pro provides a perfect solution for studio setups in conjunction with a digital mixing console. 16 Audio Channels can be distributed latency free up to 150m plus MIDI in/out with one single CAT 5 network cable to the recording unit,outboard FX or AD/DA converters. Its flexibility, (compared to bundles of analog cables), together with its cost-efficiency and light-weight makes it an interesting alternative for any multichannel studio or live connection.

Range-X Pro II is extended version of previous Range X Pro. Is an affordable TOSLINK cable extender receiver/ transmitter solution. It enables any optical Adat or SPDIF signal + MIDI to be transported with no latency through a single Cat 5 Network cable for more then 150m (400 ft) in any direction, allows to install AD/DA converters or any other Adat devices far away from
its source or target device.

Range X Pro can be configured in several modes :
- send send 32 digital audio chanels (4x Adat) to one direction
- send 24 digital audio chanels (3xAdat) and receive 8 digital audio chanels (1x Adat)
- send 16 digital audio chanels (2xAdat) and receive 16 digital audio chanels (2x Adat)

Such combination expand useablity for more useable cases, for example in case when you need receive from stage 24 audio channels and send back 8 channels to the stage, you can achieve such setup with one pair of Range X Pro II units easily with one CAT 5 cable. With the older Range X Pro version you need to have two pairs of Range X Pro units and two CAT 5 cables between the stage and your digital mixing console.
